  1. Remove the back cover from the Argonaut enclosure.
  2. Insert your PC.
  3. Connect the internal ArgoShield cables to the required ports on your PC.
  4. Replace the back cover.
  5. Position the enclosure in place.
  6. Connect external ArgoShield ports to network, display, keyboard, USB peripherals, etc.
  7. Connect mains power cord to Argonaut.
  8. Switch on your PC (through the front hatch).
  9. Make sure the fans properly operate as soon as you turn on the switch, otherwise there is increased risk of overheating to your PC.
  10. Keep the front hatch closed at all times after you have accessed the front controls in order to effectively shield EMF radiation.

Laptops, Mini PCs and Gaming Consoles

  1. Lift open the top cover of the enclosure.
  2. If present, position the mains adapter towards the rear of the enclosure, and connect using the provided IEC to mains socket adapter.
  3. Position your Laptop, miniPC or Gaming console in the enclosure.
  4. Connect power, external display, network and other peripherals using the appropriate ArgoShield internal cables.
  5. Tidy the installation using the adjustable partition to contain and organise the mains and other cables in the rear of the enclosure. You can also use the provided Velcro-type straps for this purpose.
  6. Connect network, external display, keyboard, USB peripherals, etc. to the available external ArgoShield connectors at the rear of the enclosure.
  7. Turn on the rear mains switch and make sure the fans operate properly.
  8. Switch on your device.
  9. Close the top cover making sure there is good contact with the body of the enclosure.
  10. Work normally :-)
  11. The top cover must sit perfectly in its intended closed position at all times for the enclosure to shield EMFs effectively.
  • If you wish to start your PC or Laptop remotely, without having to open your Argonaut enclosure front hatch or top cover, you can set up the wake–up from LAN function. In this way you can switch on your device from your smartphone or network enabled terminal.
